KASB Risk Management expanding to help membersScott Rothschild
The KASB Risk Management agency within KASB has been in existence for 30 years, starting with a Workers Compensation Pool in 1987.
After a rebranding and marketing expansion in 2016, KASB Risk Management rolled out a Health Consulting Service and in early 2017, added a Customer Service Specialist, and enhanced our direct access with a new phone number. In addition, the team has raised its social media presence, adding a Facebook page, twitter account, and monthly E-newsletter in efforts to increase service and awareness to our customers.
KASB Risk Management is expanding again and hiring a new team member — Jeremy Woydziak — as Agency Services Manager, to continue to enhance the KASB Risk Management mission to be your Strategic Risk Management Partner.
WIth that mission in mind, the agency is also launching its newest service, a Section 125 and employee benefit enrollment service. In order to give the new Employee Benefit Solutions service the best chance of early success, it will be supported day-to-day by KASB Assistant Executive Director, Risk Management Rod Spangler and Customer Service Specialist Jaime Slack. Additional staff will be added as more members use it. Jeremy, as Agency Services Manager, will assume responsibility for the service and support of all other programs within KASB Risk Management.
Jeremy has nearly 20 years of insurance and financial services industry experience with more than 15 of those years having been spent in direct support of the insurance needs of public education groups throughout Kansas.
His primary role will be to market and support all current programs in providing guidance to KASB members with their risk management needs. Liz Maisberger-Clark, KASB’s long time Operations Manager, will continue to manage the day-to-day work of all Workers Compensation operations.
Jeremy’s role will allow him to be active throughout Kansas, working directly with KASB members. Jeremy will act as KASB Risk Management’s primary point of contact for the Health Consulting Service.
Jeremy was born and raised in southwest Kansas and will continue to live in Dodge City with his wife and daughters. In recent years, KASB, especially in Leadership Services, has placed Field Representatives throughout Kansas. This has proven to be an effective model by allowing members to be served where they are. Jeremy’s position as Agency Services Manager will follow that model as well.
Please be on the lookout in the coming days and weeks for further details on our new Employee Benefit Solutions program.
KASB Risk Management is proud to be your Strategic Risk Management Partner and looks forward to continuous improvement to support your business operations within your school system.
