Application process begins for next phase of Kansans Can school redesign programScott Rothschild
The application process started Monday for school districts wanting to participate in the next phase of redesigning schools.
“Join our journey to the moon,” tweeted Kansas Education Commissioner Randy Watson.
The Kansans Can Redesign project calls on participating school districts to change an elementary and secondary school to align with the State Board of Education’s vision of leading the world in the success of every student.
School redesign efforts selected in earlier rounds have been named after the Mercury 7 astronauts and Gemini I programs. Watson is calling the new program Gemini II.
The application period will end April 3. For more information, go here.
