Second class of BOLD school leaders starts todayScott Rothschild
The Business Operations Leadership Development (BOLD) program focuses on developing knowledge on building and facilities master planning, technology planning, finance strategies, procurement processes, school security, risk management and human resources.
After introductions and an overview of the BOLD program, the school administrators Tuesday will hear about the art of board relationships from KASB leadership staff.
Then BOLD participants will hear from a panel of present and former school board members that includes Basehor USD 458 board member Dayna Miller, Washington USD 108 board member Rod Stewart and former Lawrence USD 497 board members Scott Morgan and Cindy Yulich. Both Miller and Stewart are past presidents of KASB.
On Wednesday, BOLD will focus on tech system management and talk with k12itc President Brad Sandt.
The next BOLD session will be held Nov. 14-15 in Goddard.
