KASB’s Leadership for Tomorrow to visit McPherson USD 418, Twin Valley USD 240Scott Rothschild
KASB’s Leadership for Tomorrow team will be on the road Thursday and Friday learning about education innovations and operations at McPherson USD 418 and Twin Valley USD 240.
Both districts are part of the Kansans Can School Redesign project and Mercury 7 schools. By August, the operations of two schools in each of those district will have been redesigned to fit the State Board of Education’s vision to improve student performance.
McPherson school officials will make a presentation on Thursday and Twin Valley officials on Friday.
The Leadership for Tomorrow program aims to create greater understanding of the Kansas public education system and provides opportunities to develop leadership skills for effective governance and raising student achievement. Since its inception in 2005, the program has been completed by 221 school leaders.
