LED lighting workshop May 17 at KSULeah Fliter
The Kansas Energy Program at Kansas State University, the Kansas Corporation Commission, and Stanion Electric are hosting a day-long LED lighting workshop on May 17 in Manhattan.
Topics will include a look at LED trends and common challenges during a lighting retrofit. The workshop will be from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. off-campus at the Unger Complex, 2323 Anderson Avenue Suite 300. Participants can visit with vendors and experience hands-on demonstrations. A $25 fee covers lunch and parking.
This workshop is intended for facilities considering a lighting retrofit to LED or those interested in the field of lighting. Professional development hours are available for professional engineers and certified energy managers. Superintendents and facility managers for K-12 schools will likely find it useful.
