On Tue. June 16, the monthly School Board Clerks, Payroll and Human Resources support forum will held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Go to this link to register.
On Wed. June 17, two Board Leadership Forums will be held; one at noon and the other at 6 p.m. These meetings cover timely information you need to make decisions for your schools during this on-going COVID-19 public health crisis, plus provide guidance as you plan for the future. Each session includes opportunities to ask questions and share information with fellow Kansas education leaders.
On Thur. June 18, the New Clerks and Superintendents Too! meeting will be held at 9 a.m. This workshop will include a review of the legal duties, timelines for required month-to-month and yearly requirements and much more. Are you a new superintendent? Information from this workshop will prove invaluable during your first year as the district leader. You will gain an understanding of the legal duties of the board clerk along with an overview of district roles and responsibilities. Attend as board clerk-superintendent team and get a jump on the 2020-21 school year.
