Make a plan to vote, then carry out that plan

Kansas voters will finish the 2018 Election tomorrow, making key selections, including a new governor, that will impact Kansas public schools. Here is a link to help voters locate their polling place.

KASB and other education organizations urge voters to vote. KASB does not endorse candidates in political races but does provide information for voters on candidates’ positions.

Here is a link to KASB’s Election 2018 page, which includes responses to a KASB questionnaire on education issues from two of the three major gubernatorial candidates — Democrat Laura Kelly and independent Greg Orman. Republican Kris Kobach did not return a questionnaire and during his campaign announced several education positions opposed by KASB.

Below are links to voter guides and election sections that include general election information and stories on individual races and candidates, including profiles and questionnaires.
