KASB has resources available online to Kansas Supreme Court’s newest Gannon school finance decision

KASB has put together resources to this week’s Kansas Supreme Court ruling that the new school funding law fails to provide an adequate education for K-12 students.
The court has given the Legislature more time to remedy the law, which means the decision will be dealt with during the 2018 legislative session, which starts in January.
The court’s opinion, a legal analysis by KASB, an analysis by the Kansas Legislative Research Department, a question and answer guide to the ruling by KASB and a KASB webinar on the decision, featuring KASB Associate Executive Director for Advocacy and Communications Mark Tallman and KASB Assistant Executive Director of Legal Services Donna Whiteman, can be accessed by going to KASB’s Key Resources page.
