Kristin draws on nearly 20 years in school district communications to provide support and services to KASB members across the state. She also leads the KASB team responsible for marketing, communication and events for members.

Prior to joining KASB in 2022, Kristin served for 12 years as communications director for Eudora Public Schools. What began as a new position grew into an award-winning and nationally recognized strategic communications office. Her work in a one-person department was enhanced through extensive collaboration with a full range of district leaders and staff, as well as community agencies, the Kansas School Public Relations Association and National School Public Relations Association. She served on the KanSPRA board for 10 years, including a term as president in 2015-2016.

Kristin’s strategic communications experience also spans non-profit, higher education, small business and corporate. She has published two books and is a frequent speaker on school communications strategies, as well as the importance of workplace wellbeing for longevity and sustainable success a demanding profession.

She lives in Eudora with her family and is exceedingly proud of Kansas public schools and the role they play in the strength and beauty of every Kansas community.
