Winter School Law Conference
In honor of KASB’s 100th year of service, start this annual conference with a journey through time, recapping a few of the landmark cases this century which radically changed the school law landscape.

The conference will continue with presenters discussing the Kansas Open Meetings Act; implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act’s foster student requirements; school law; special education; and employment law in the information age.

PLEASE NOTE: A special luncheon will be held for members of the Kansas School Attorneys Association attending this pre-conference.

This pre-conference qualifies for CLE.

NEW IN 2017! Foundations of Boardsmanship

Special mentor pricing and pricing for new board members that attend Conference!

KASB’s Foundations of Boardsmanship training provides dynamic, interactive presentations and time for collaboration and discussion focused around the skills and knowledge you need to be an exceptional board member. This training is useful for any board of education member – newly elected, just appointed or veteran! And attending as a team – with the superintendent and fellow board member who can serve as a mentor – is an excellent way to develop shared understanding of challenges and opportunities at the local level!
