he ACES experience will equip you with the knowledge, skills, insights and professional network you need to work strategically — and deliver measurable value to your school district. No matter how your professional journey looks, an ACES experience will fast-track your professional growth in the unique demands of school district communication.  

ACES participants will meet in person six times to learn, collaborate and practice in each session. For a one-time cost of $850, participants will … 

• Identify and prioritize the work that matters most 
• Create a communication plan with measured results to steer your efforts for the next two years and beyond 
• Learn strategies and build skills, based on evidence-based competency areas outlined by the National School Public Relations Association 
• Widen your network of support through 1:1 mentoring with a highly respected school communications professional and KanSPRA member 
• Practice and apply learning in your district between sessions  
• Understand your role and how to work with leaders to make the biggest difference for your district, students and families

For just $850, ACES will accelerate learning and increase in value to their district through six in-person sessions:

• SESSION 1: Foundations & Priorities (1.5 days) 
• SESSION 2: Tools, Relationships & Systems for Success (1 day) 
• SESSION 3: Internal Communication for Organizational Strength (1 day) 
• SESSION 4: Crisis Communication to Build Trust (1 day) 
• SESSION 5: Branding & Marketing (1 day)

The ACES coaching experience is led by Kristin Magette, APR, whose school communications career began in 2006 as a new position in a one-person shop. Participants will also benefit from insights, wisdom and support of school communication leaders and members of the Kansas School Public Relations Association.

Sessions will begin in September; exact dates and locations will be scheduled when ACES participants are finalized.
