KASB Events
Each year at KASB, we plan and develop workshops and events to help promote and develop our members to be prepared to help Kansas students succeed. As we continue to support our members with quality events throughout the year, we host larger annual events that connect members across the state and country. These opportunities allow each member to collaborate, network, and grow as we all lead, serve, and advocate for student success.
Check out KASB shop for exclusive event merchandise and other items, perfect for displaying your public school pride!
Upcoming Events
Leading a school district is no simple task. Best practices, regulations, and policies frequently change, making it difficult to keep up. We proudly offer events and training throughout the year to prepare our members for the challenges and opportunities of educational leadership. Take a look at some of our upcoming events.
All registrations close one week before the event.
Safe Schools & Threat Preparedness
KASB is partnering with the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Safe and Secure Schools Unit, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Kansas Attorney General’s Office and multiple federal agencies to provide regional school safety trainings and educational briefings.
The intent of these trainings is to coordinate information from local, state and federal partners to provide quality training and support to students and staff. Consultants from the Safe and Secure Schools Unit will provide these trainings across the state to cultivate connections and relationships between school resource officers, mental health counselors, administrators and local law enforcement officials.
Check out this flyer for more information.
