In recent weeks, KASB’s Mark Tallman has visited several school districts across Kansas that are setting the bar for student achievement. 

Whether it’s attaining a 100 percent high school graduation rate or making significant improvements in state assessment scores, Tallman writes about how our public schools are preparing students for life after K-12. 

The series of stories delves deep into the work of teachers, parents, administrators, and school board members to drive student success. 

The result shows how community members working together bring out the best in one other in service to our most valuable resource – our young Kansas students.
