Delegate Assembly

 

The Delegate Assembly is KASB's annual business meeting where district delegates vote on key decisions for the Association. This year’s assembly will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15 during the KASB Convention in Wichita.

Delegates will be voting on several important items, including:

  1. Proposed 2026 Legislative Priorities
  2. President-Elect Candidate

If you haven’t already, please appoint your district's voting delegate by Monday, Nov. 10 on the member portal.

If you wish to propose an amendment, please refer to the KASB Delegate Assembly Rules to ensure compliance and complete an amendment form.

 


 

Proposed 2026 Legislative Priorities

Review the 2026 Legislative Committee Report, which outlines the proposed legislative priorities to guide KASB's lobbying efforts in Topeka and Washington, D.C. Please discuss these policies at your next board meeting.

President-Elect Candidates

The KASB Board of Directors Nominating Committee has put forth Curt Herrman (Manhattan-Ogden USD 383) and Judi Price (Leavenworth USD 453) as candidates for President-Elect Designee.
